San Antonio Newborn Photographer | Hunting Photos of Baby Boy in Camo | Wren

Sweet baby Wren came to Chelsea Lietz Photography for newborn photos with a family that loves hunting and fishing!  They asked for some classic newborn portraits, some sibling shots with big brother, and some fun images to show their love of hunting and the great outdoors.  They even brought a vintage duck decoy from Wren’s nursery as a prop and I had plenty of camo.  But what really stole the show was the tiny hunting blind that a friend made for me.  It was so perfect for this sweet baby boy and he was an excellent model for me.

When you book your newborn portraits with Chelsea Lietz Photography, know that I am happy to use props that reflect your style and show a bit of your family identity.  (Aggie props are one of my most frequent requests!) But I also limit the props in a session so that you still receive classic, timeless photos that will be cherished for generations.  Before each session, the family fills out a style survey that tells me a little about how they envision their images, and then I style the session to reflect those desires.  My job is so fun!  🙂

San Antonio Baby Photographer | First Birthday Portraits | Ariya

The stunning Ariya returned to my San Antonio area photography studio for her first birthday portraits.  Her Mama requested a bunch of newborn recreation shots, and I had so much fun with that! We used some of the same poses, props, and backdrops to show how much she has grown in a year.   She was stunning as a newborn in her tiara from Enchanted Shimmer, so recreating that shot was a must.  She is a valentine baby, so we included some of those sweet set ups and props.

Ariya’s daddy loves the Las Angeles Lakers… and being a San Antonio Spurs fan myself… I grudgingly recreated her basketball image.  🙂

Ariya was the cutest little model with the most infectious smiles.  And if you think these were cute… wait until you see her cake smash session… coming soon!

San Antonio Baby Photographer | Twins | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Being a San Antonio baby photographer is the best job in the world!  I love working with newborns, especially twins.  I photograph 20-30 sets of twins a year from newborns to one year olds.  When photographing newborn twins in my studio, I always use an assistant for an extra set of hands and for safety.  I have hundreds (maybe thousands!) of props available for twins and higher order multiples.  I love to capture the sweet connection between multiples, but I also photograph each baby separately for individual images.  I have also photographed three sets of triplets and would love to work with quadruplets… so bring me your babies!  😉

Spring is approaching and that means another busy season for photographers!  Please read through the announcements below for updates, suggestions, and upcoming events.

 

I am fully booked through the end of March. 

There is no availability at all. If you have already submitted your contract, your session is secure.

 

I am accepting sessions for April and beyond.

Babies enrolled in the belly to birthday package get first dibs on booking.  PLEASE email me today to book well in advance!  ChelseaLietz@gmail(dot)com  Your milestone sessions can be booked months ahead of time and then adjusted if needed if baby is not yet sitting up well, etc.

 

I will be offering Bluebonnet sessions again this Spring.

They will be between March 20th and April 12th, depending on the blooms. This announcement and all details will be shared on my facebook page in March. To make sure you don’t miss it, you can go to my CLP page, and under LIKE, check “Get Notifications.”

 

All galleries more than 365 days old will be purged in April due to space constraints.

I am not currently booking family sessions.  At all.  I can recommend Mint to Be Mine Photography.  They also rock maternity if I don’t have availability for you.

 

I am not currently booking senior sessions.  I can recommend Christina Ramirez Photography.

 

NEWBORNS- Parents who have submitted contracts, please try to contact me before your baby is 4 days old to schedule your session.  The sooner you contact me, the more scheduling options you have.

Parents wishing to book newborn sessions, it is never too early!  As long as you are beyond 12 weeks, you can submit your contract and get on my calendar.

 

MILESTONE BABIES- Book well in advance!  I can’t stress this enough.

San Antonio Birthday Cake Smash Photos | Chelsea Lietz Photography | Super Hero

Dapper little Andrew came to see me for his first birthday portraits and a super hero themed cake smash.  We was so sweet and had the best expressions.  I adore a baby in suspenders!  And when it came time to eat his cake, Andrew proved that being a super hero creates a super appetite!  He stuck his face right in, finger-painted with icing, banged the cake like a drum, smeared it all over, and even flipped the cake off the stand with a super hero flourish!  Sweet super hero cape set by Woodfrock.

I have several cake smash themes and props already in the studio for your use.  But if you have a specific theme in mind, just ask!  If you want to use your images for birthday party invitations or decorations, make sure you plan your session well in advance!  I recommend cakes by Inphinity Designs (Stone Oak area), Debbie’s Custom Creations (San Antonio), Fields o’Flour (Seguin), or Sweet Bites by Lizzie (New Braunfels).  I can’t wait to help you and your babe celebrate a first birthday with photos to cherish for a lifetime.
