Spring is approaching and that means another busy season for photographers!  Please read through the announcements below for updates, suggestions, and upcoming events.

 

I am fully booked through the end of March. 

There is no availability at all. If you have already submitted your contract, your session is secure.

 

I am accepting sessions for April and beyond.

Babies enrolled in the belly to birthday package get first dibs on booking.  PLEASE email me today to book well in advance!  ChelseaLietz@gmail(dot)com  Your milestone sessions can be booked months ahead of time and then adjusted if needed if baby is not yet sitting up well, etc.

 

I will be offering Bluebonnet sessions again this Spring.

They will be between March 20th and April 12th, depending on the blooms. This announcement and all details will be shared on my facebook page in March. To make sure you don’t miss it, you can go to my CLP page, and under LIKE, check “Get Notifications.”

 

All galleries more than 365 days old will be purged in April due to space constraints.

If you have any ordering to do, please do so!  Email me if you need help finding your gallery.

 

I am not currently booking family sessions.  At all.  I can recommend Mint to Be Mine Photography.  They also rock maternity if I don’t have availability for you.

 

I am not currently booking senior sessions.  I can recommend Christina Ramirez Photography.

 

NEWBORNS- Parents who have submitted contracts, please try to contact me before your baby is 4 days old to schedule your session.  The sooner you contact me, the more scheduling options you have.

Parents wishing to book newborn sessions, it is never too early!  As long as you are beyond 12 weeks, you can submit your contract and get on my calendar.

 

MILESTONE BABIES- Book well in advance!  I can’t stress this enough.

Sweet Niam came to see me with gorgeous lips, amazing hair, and the most beautiful eyelashes ever!  He was so good for his photo session.  Mom & Dad had some special posing requests and I was happy to oblige.  Niam was so happy that he even flashed me a smile.  He really loved being all swaddled up.  Such a handsome boy!

San Antonio Birth Photographer | Natural VBAC With Midwife

Last week I had the distinct pleasure of photographing a natural VBAC birth in San Antonio at the Birth Center Stone Oak. I knew I loved the H family the moment I met them, and witnessing this miracle sealed the deal.  Mama was strong, determined, and inspiring.  Dad was a steadfast support with just the right words and just the right touch at each moment of a long, hard night.  Because birth is hard.  But oh, so beautiful.  I daresay “brutiful.”

Mama was attended by the midwives at The Birth Center Stone Oak, and they were calm, supportive, and completely in control.  They knew exactly what Mama needed to achieve the birth of her dreams. Their love for the H family was evident, as well. Mama labored in the birth tub, on a stool, and finally delivered a 9lb+ baby girl on the large suite bed in the wee hours of morning.

Here are a few brutiful moments that Mama has approved for me to share.  The slideshow at the end of the post tells the whole story, but the truly intimate moments, like baby’s first breath, have been saved just for Mom and Dad. Congratulations on a successful vaginal birth after cesarean! Thank you for letting me be a part of your miracle; I cried tears of joy right along with you.

San Antonio Child Photographer | First Birthday Portraits & Cake Smash

 

Reagan first came to the San Antonio studio for newborn portraits and in a blink was already returning for her first birthday photo session with cake smash and bubble bath!  She was lovely in a princess crown on my vintage love seat and just adored the pearl necklace props.  Reagan’s mama gave me some special things to include on her first birthday chalk board so that they will always remember what she was like at this adorable age.

We recreated some of Reagan’s newborn portraits to show her growth… I love the sport shots since Mom says balls are her favorite toy.

Reagan’s first birthday cake smash was a cupcake theme and we shot them outdoors in my vintage high chair.  She had a slow start but was soon digging right in!  And the little genius can hold up one finger for being one!  With all that cake and icing everywhere, we simply had to give her a bubble bath to clean up. How adorable is she in the shower cap by Feather River Boutique?

San Antonio Newborn Photographer | Baby Boy Chapel

Chapel came to my San Antonio area studio for his newborn portraits from Fredericksburg, Texas.  His parents requested rustic, natural, country and hunting images. Dad is a taxidermist and avid hunter…so of course we had to get some shots in camo with Daddy’s antlers and an ammo box.   🙂   Chapel is the sweetest baby and flashed me several big smiles.  Congratulations H family, it was a pleasure photographing your beautiful son.

 

I get a lot of questions about my rustic stick stool, isn’t it an awesome prop?!  It comes from The Prop Barn.
