Time to plan for Fall and Christmas mini sessions.  Chelsea Lietz Photography offers portrait sessions in Bulverde, Texas and serves the San Antonio area.

Hi friends! I apologize that I don’t have the promo photos completed with each setup and theme… but… well… it’s only August.  They will come later, so for now I just ask you to trust me.  🙂

Fall Family Mini Sessions

An outdoor family session to capture the love. I will have a sofa and a few posing props, but no themes. You will get photos of family, siblings, and each child individually.  Please limit your session to immediately family that lives in your home.  Weekend evenings offered. Exact times might be altered 5-15 minutes the week before, depending on light!

Christmas Child Mini Session in the Studio

Rustic & traditional Christmas theme with a tree, rustic decor, and red & green. The focus is on baby (& their siblings). You are welcome to all of my props, santa costumes, headbands, etc.

Weekday and weekend offered.

Ages 4 months- 10 years, 3 children or less *Older kids & larger families encouraged to use the red truck minis

Vintage Truck Mini Sessions

I am so excited about these!  We will decorate a green ’46 Chevy with loads of Christmas decor and a tree.  Families, kids, and/or dogs will be photographed on the tailgate and in and around the truck.

I’ll have “hot” chocolate in mugs with marshmallows for snuggly cocoa moments.  It will all be magical!

Offered on weekend evenings November 3, 17, and 18th. Exact times might be altered 5-15 minutes the week before, depending on light!

Don’t worry babies, Fiesta is here!  And so is the San Antonio Fiesta Baby Photo Series by Chelsea Lietz Photography.

I had so much fun working with these sweet San Antonio area babies. I often dream up a project just for myself that keeps my creative spark alive and gives me joy. This was certainly joyful as we giggled and grinned and I acted a fool to get smiles.  And yes, there were some tears that led to a chain reaction… but it was still so precious and made for a decent Fiesta meme.  😉  Smiles or not, we were happy to honor our beloved Alamo City and the Fiesta season of 2018.

Most of the props and outfits are mine, available in the studio for client use.  Some babies brought their own attire (San Antonio moms are prepared, ya’ll!), and a big thank you to Mis Corazones Boutique (San Antonio local!) for two adorable outfits made quickly and beautifully (tassel 2 piece and the serape set), Jennelle of Alamo City Moms Blog for letting us borrow some of her amazing Fiesta medal stash, my assistant D’Ann for helping with set design and wrangling babies, High Five Factory for the popular “Let’s Fiesta” headband, my sister in law Chelsea for the loan of some great Fiesta decor, and all of the mamas that trusted me with their sweet babies!

San Antonio Newborn Photos | Chelsea Lietz Photography

At only six days old, sweet Memphis came to Chelsea Lietz Photography’s studio for San Antonio newborn photos. She was such a doll and absolutely doted on by her big sister, Emma.  Memphis Mae’s parents requested pink, princess, Valentine’s, angel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, feminine sister shots, floral, a swing, family, and the use of Daddy’s old childhood teddy bear.  She was so sleepy, that we got it all done and more!

The sisters even wore a sweet matching set by Hugs and Stitches and Emma wore a dress provided by my studio wardrobe from Dollcake Oh So Girly.  The studio is stocked with thousands of props, wraps, headbands, backdrops, outfits, and more.  New parents fill out a style survey to tell me about any specific themes or requests that they have.  Usually, I can provide everything.  Sometimes, they bring a sentimental item, a prop to match the baby nursery or items for a specific theme that I don’t have, such as the Harry Potter set up. I pride myself on delivering classic newborn portraits that feature your sweet baby.  However, its fun to include some special requests and make your family photos truly about your family. 🙂

Floral Swing Minis and Tire Swing Minis will be offered on the same evenings. Girls can choose from my many gowns, floral headbands, and accessories.  Or your Easter dress might be pretty! Mom, you can get in a few images, too.  I even have mother-daughter matching gowns!

Tire swing sample photos are coming, but I’m imagining rosy cheeked boys swinging with barefeet, jeans, and no shirt. Mom can jump in here, too, and give the kiddos a push!  Any gender welcome on either swing, siblings welcome.

This makes a great Mother’s Day Gift!

Bluebonnet photos are a Texas tradition!  My property has a field of bluebonnets and this year I am going to do fewer sessions per evening to get optimal light for everyone.

Likely Dates- March 23-25… but these are all dependent on when the blooms come this year

This is Sparkles, our friendly mini horse.  The unicorn sessions are very popular and in high demand! As usual, you are welcome to my gowns, headbands, and accessories. There is nothing more magical for a little girl!

Pony sessions are for the cowgirls and cowboys in your life. Kids only, siblings welcome. Both sessions offered on the same nights.

Valentina’s Newborn Portraits | San Antonio Area Newborn Photographer | Chelsea Lietz Photography

As a San Antonio area newborn photographer, I am comfortable in my studio where I have photographed almost 900 newborns. However, I love a challenge and traveling for a newborn session is just that!

Allow me to introduce this baby girl with the face of an angel… Valentina.  Her mom is a friend and a fellow photographer in Dallas at Angie Ochoa Photography.  I was so very honored to photograph Valentina.  She was anxiously awaited, and then needed very special care and prayers during a month in the NICU, including being on ECMO.  She proved herself a fierce fighter and her parents approached each day with complete faith and a strong community of support.

Valentina was over six weeks old by the time I got to meet her, but that didn’t stop us!  Capturing these images of her was very fun, especially because she is always smiling and making funny faces.  We did endless “newborn” poses, posed shots with mom, and then some lifestyle images with her parents and her furry brothers.  🙂

She was sweet as sugar in a custom blanket and hat set by Aspen Lane and her Mama requested a unicorn horn by Baby Birdie Boutique.

Here is sweet Valentina.  Keep scrolling, it was hard to narrow them down!  😉
