San Antonio Newborn Portraits | Lyla | Adopted Baby

I love my job.  And adore photographing every sweet child that enters my San Antonio area studio.  But sometimes I get the pleasure of working with an extra special baby, and Lyla is one of them.

Her parents are dear friends of mine and have always dreamed of a family.  Lyla’s adoption has made their dreams come true and it is a match made in heaven.

Lyla Grace was over 9 pounds of pure perfection and was SUCH a good sleeper for me!  We captured her newness with delicate details, lace, feminine pink, and sweet accessories like this first headband by Bitty Beads. (another Texas small business!)  We got some Christmas shots in a beautiful gold prop by My New Love.  And for Daddy we got a few images in natural tones that included camo and grandpa’s cowboy hat.  But my favorites by far are the images of Lyla and her forever family.  I get chills thinking about how much love will be showered upon this baby girl every day of her life, forever and ever, Amen.  🙂

Adopted Newborn Baby Portraits * San Antonio Photographer

 

I am honored when I am chosen to photograph any baby. It is a privilege that I treasure.  But working with an adopted child brings me an extra special kind of joy.  I always get the happiest families from Abrazo Adoption Agency in San Antonio.

And Amelia’s family was no exception.  This beautiful baby girl came to the studio with her birth family and her adoptive family… surrounded by more love than one can even imagine!

It was an honor photographing her large, perfect family and her incredibly sweet face.  She has gorgeous lashes and even flashed me a sweet baby smile.  Amelia, you have the hearts of many… but add mine to the list.

Baby Girl Newborn Portraits * New Braunfels Baby Photographer

Sweet Dani Laurel was a perfect angel for her newborn session.  And she even brought along a photogenic, well-behaved, super proud big sister!

This first shot of Dani on a felt ball rugs is one of my favorite photos to date, I just love the color and her perfect lips.  I got some great sibling shots of Dani with her big sister, Ashton… check out those expressions! These girls are going to have so much fun growing up together.

Mama requested a mermaid shot and Dad is a musician and brought in his guitar for Miss Dani to model on.  I love to customize personal portraits that are special to the family.

Know what else I love?  Baby smiles!  Dani flashed me a few big ones!
