San Antonio Newborn Baby Photographer | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Hello! My name is Chelsea and I am a San Antonio newborn baby photographer.  I serve the surrounding areas of Bulverde, Blanco, Boerne, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Poteet, New Braunfels, Seguin, and Floresville as well.

My specialty is newborns within the first two weeks of life. These sessions take place in my photography studio.  However, I also photograph maternity, family, babies, first year with cake smash, and various special mini sessions like bluebonnets, unicorns, Christmas, and more.

I love my job and I’d love to hear about what kind of session you have in mind so that we can capture these priceless and fleeting moments.  For newborns I recommend booking during your second trimester, but if you missed that you should still send me an email!

San Antonio Newborn Photos | Chelsea Lietz Photography

At only six days old, sweet Memphis came to Chelsea Lietz Photography’s studio for San Antonio newborn photos. She was such a doll and absolutely doted on by her big sister, Emma.  Memphis Mae’s parents requested pink, princess, Valentine’s, angel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, feminine sister shots, floral, a swing, family, and the use of Daddy’s old childhood teddy bear.  She was so sleepy, that we got it all done and more!

The sisters even wore a sweet matching set by Hugs and Stitches and Emma wore a dress provided by my studio wardrobe from Dollcake Oh So Girly.  The studio is stocked with thousands of props, wraps, headbands, backdrops, outfits, and more.  New parents fill out a style survey to tell me about any specific themes or requests that they have.  Usually, I can provide everything.  Sometimes, they bring a sentimental item, a prop to match the baby nursery or items for a specific theme that I don’t have, such as the Harry Potter set up. I pride myself on delivering classic newborn portraits that feature your sweet baby.  However, its fun to include some special requests and make your family photos truly about your family. 🙂

Baby and Sibling Photos in San Antonio | Chelsea Lietz Photography

When expecting another baby, some parents worry about loving a second child as much as they love their first… but then they see their new bundle of joy and are reassured that love multiplies, not divides!

The most requested photo in my studio is always the baby and big sibling shot.  Seeing your two (or more!) babies together is the best feeling in the world!

Sweet baby Channing came to Chelsea Lietz Photography for her newborn session and brought her amazing big sister, Sawyer.  Sawyer has fantastic hair and is crazy in love with her new baby!  These sibling photos might be my favorite, ever!

San Antonio Newborn Photos | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Chelsea Lietz Photography specializes in newborns portraits in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas.

I was recently gathering some images for marketing and special projects.  I was going through images up to two years old, trying to pick “favorites.”  You see, picking favorites it pretty much impossible because I come to love every child I work with. I often become friends with the family and watch the babies grow.  I *adore* this about my job.  But what I realized while sorting through images is that I know the names of these tiny sleeping humans.  I can look at almost any random photo that I’ve taken and name the baby.  I was dumbfounded and kept testing myself.  On the whole I’m not very good at faces and names… except for my tiny clients!  Thank you for trusting me with your San Antonio newborn photos. I’ve photographed over 600 newborns alone in the last few years. I call my own children by the wrong name half the time. 😉  But these sweet angels?  They stick with me.  <3

San Antonio Baby Photographer | Kaitlyn | Newborn Girl Portraits

Being a San Antonio baby photographer is the best job in the world!  Kaitlyn came to my studio for her newborn portraits at only six days old.  She was a dream to pose and her big sister was amazing, too!  I adore their sibling shots, and the family portraits are some of my favorites… because they aren’t easy to get with a 2 year old sibling.  🙂

Kaitlyn’s Mama asked for lace, flowers, pink, my cherry blossom tree with stump, and a Christmas shot.  I enjoyed this sweet session so much and hope to see these sisters grow up together!  (I’m a Mama of three sisters so they hold a special place in my heart!)

The adorable coordinating headbands in the sibling shots are by the talented Madeline of Ms. Madeline’s Tutus.  The lace backdrop fabric is from Roses and Ruffles.
