Sweet Locklyn came to see me in the studio with her big sister, Kinley.
Mama requested one of my outdoor hanging shots, and I was happy to oblige. Baby’s safety is always my priority, these shots are taken as composites with someone holding the baby at all times.
I had such a great time with this sweet family and their precious little girls. Sisters melt my heart every time!
Sweet Axl came to the studio already sure of his first love… football! Namely, Houston Texans football. I love football and I love babies… so I had a blast with this newborn portrait session.
Daddy was very proud of his little Texans fan. And Mama let me slip in a Longhorn football photo, too! Don’t tell anybody, but that one is my favorite. Hook ’em!
I grew up with the Magin family and was extremely honored when I was asked to photograph their grandchildren. They have been blessed 5 times over.
We had a blast with a picnic, some cane pole fishing (not shown), and some stylized shots at the ranch and studio. Photographing four wiggly children is not easy, nor are infants that cannot yet sit up on their own.. but this was a welcome challenge! Photoshop is my friend.

Sweet Chloe came to the ranch for a make-up mini session that was rained out. This time we had a beautiful evening to go with such a beautiful child. She made me work for some smiles, but it was worth it! I even had Chloe’s mama and aunt acting silly to loosen her up… I am not ashamed to admit that I act like a fool on a regular basis in order to get real smiles. 🙂
Sweet Hannah came to see me for her 12 month portraits and she brought plenty of personality! We enjoyed playing outside for the first half of the shoot and then headed in the studio. I adored her baby curls.
And she adored cake! Her first birthday cake smash session was a good one. Check out all of her (icing covered) expressions…
