First birthday cake smash photos in San Antonio | Claire | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Sweet Claire came to see me for her first birthday cake smash photos in San Antonio.  I’ve been watching her (and her brother) grow over the past year and she has been such a joy.  I adore her big, bright eyes and her perfectly crazy hair.  Claire’s mama wanted some floral crown portraits of her little pixie.  We also recreated some of her newborn portraits in the studio… including a shot with her mom’s beautiful wedding veil. Her big brother embraced his adoring sibling role and showered Claire with kisses.

And then? Ya’ll… we got to the cake smash.  And boy does Claire like cake!  🙂  Well done, princess!  Happy first birthday. First Birthday Portraits in San Antonio | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Miss Emila came to the Chelsea Lietz Photography studio for her first birthday portraits in San Antonio. She is a real life doll and so adorable!

Her Mama wanted to capture her personality at one year old and celebrate this special milestone. She chose not to do a birthday smash cake, so we made a birthday board and played with balloons.

I love photographing newborns.  But babies grow very quickly, don’t forget to book your milestone sessions, too.  Sitter sessions around six months old show off a smiling, chubby baby that is discovering the world.  Birthday sessions show off sassy almost-toddlers and can include a fun cake smash if you wish.  I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance if possible.

Twin Newborn Photos in San Antonio | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Anderson and Adelaide came to Chelsea Lietz Photography for their twin newborn photos in San Antonio, Texas.  These sweet boy-girl twins loved being snuggled together and loved on by their big sister.  Their mama requested photos of them together and apart, and of course the cherished sibling photo.  We even worked in a hanging baby shot and a baseball theme.  Everyone loves a Chicago Cubs baby photo and a Texas Tech Red Raider baby photo.  🙂

Baby and Sibling Photos in San Antonio | Chelsea Lietz Photography

When expecting another baby, some parents worry about loving a second child as much as they love their first… but then they see their new bundle of joy and are reassured that love multiplies, not divides!

The most requested photo in my studio is always the baby and big sibling shot.  Seeing your two (or more!) babies together is the best feeling in the world!

Sweet baby Channing came to Chelsea Lietz Photography for her newborn session and brought her amazing big sister, Sawyer.  Sawyer has fantastic hair and is crazy in love with her new baby!  These sibling photos might be my favorite, ever!

San Antonio Twin Baby Photographer | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Identical twin girls Layla and Londyn came to my San Antonio area photography studio for their newborn portrait session.  I loved working with these sweet babies and their proud big sister.  The girls were thirteen days old on the day of their newborn photos, perfect for capturing that sweet newness that seems to be so fleeting.

Being a San Antonio twin baby photographer is the best job in the world. Multiples take a great deal of patience to photograph, but I find it so rewarding to get the sweet hugging twin poses where they snuggle together as they did in the womb.  🙂  I work with an assistant when I photograph twins or triplets so that the (exhausted) parents can relax and enjoy the experience.  Some parents choose to watch every pose and set-up while others catch a cat nap and enjoy the surprises when they receive their gallery of images. All of them cherish their images for a lifetime, starting with birth announcements, facebook sharing, gorgeous albums, and canvas art to display in their homes.
