San Antonio Newborn Photographer | Hunting Photos of Baby Boy in Camo | Wren

Sweet baby Wren came to Chelsea Lietz Photography for newborn photos with a family that loves hunting and fishing!  They asked for some classic newborn portraits, some sibling shots with big brother, and some fun images to show their love of hunting and the great outdoors.  They even brought a vintage duck decoy from Wren’s nursery as a prop and I had plenty of camo.  But what really stole the show was the tiny hunting blind that a friend made for me.  It was so perfect for this sweet baby boy and he was an excellent model for me.

When you book your newborn portraits with Chelsea Lietz Photography, know that I am happy to use props that reflect your style and show a bit of your family identity.  (Aggie props are one of my most frequent requests!) But I also limit the props in a session so that you still receive classic, timeless photos that will be cherished for generations.  Before each session, the family fills out a style survey that tells me a little about how they envision their images, and then I style the session to reflect those desires.  My job is so fun!  🙂

Twin Newborn Boys * Newborn Photographer for Multiples * Texas

Sweet newborn twin boys Nicolas and Jonas came to see me at 14 days old for their newborn portraits.  They were sweet and sleepy and loved to snuggle each other.  They come from a house divided, so Mom requested some Aggie and Longhorn shots.  I was happy to comply, but I switched around which baby wore which hat because I wouldn’t want the Aggie baby to think he wasn’t loved… for getting the inferior hat, of course.  (hook ’em!)  🙂

I even snagged a sweet newborn smile and of course the twins on the bunk bed shot.  Parents always ask for that one!

Have I mentioned before how much I love photographing multiples?!  ‘Cuz I do.

Baby Boy Newborn Portraits * Sports, Hunting, Fireman & Cowboy Babies * Themed Newborn Shoots

When I photograph newborn baby boys in studio, their set ups and props are usually fairly simple.  We use some neutrals and blues and greens and maybe a few hats.  But sometimes the parents ask for a special theme that may match the nursery, their hobbies, their careers, etc.  I love designing a themed shoot!

I just photographed a baby boy in a tonka truck because his dad owns a construction company.  I often get firefighter dads bringing in their gear for their newborn portraits, and I adore those shots.  I have a lot of newborn props in the studio to match your tastes… including Ranger baseball, Dallas Cowboys football, Longhorn & Aggie football, most sports, hunting, fishing, and so much more.  I even have characters like Oscar the Grouch, monkeys, and the very popular Winnie the Pooh.  But I have to say the most requested thing for newborn boys in my area of Texas are cowboys and country boys.  🙂
