San Antonio Newborn Photos | Chelsea Lietz Photography

At only six days old, sweet Memphis came to Chelsea Lietz Photography’s studio for San Antonio newborn photos. She was such a doll and absolutely doted on by her big sister, Emma. Memphis Mae’s parents requested pink, princess, Valentine’s, angel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, feminine sister shots, floral, a swing, family, and the use of Daddy’s old childhood teddy bear. She was so sleepy, that we got it all done and more!

The sisters even wore a sweet matching set by Hugs and Stitches and Emma wore a dress provided by my studio wardrobe from Dollcake Oh So Girly. The studio is stocked with thousands of props, wraps, headbands, backdrops, outfits, and more. New parents fill out a style survey to tell me about any specific themes or requests that they have. Usually, I can provide everything. Sometimes, they bring a sentimental item, a prop to match the baby nursery or items for a specific theme that I don’t have, such as the Harry Potter set up. I pride myself on delivering classic newborn portraits that feature your sweet baby. However, its fun to include some special requests and make your family photos truly about your family. 🙂

Floral Swing Minis and Tire Swing Minis will be offered on the same evenings. Girls can choose from my many gowns, floral headbands, and accessories. Or your Easter dress might be pretty! Mom, you can get in a few images, too. I even have mother-daughter matching gowns!

Tire swing sample photos are coming, but I’m imagining rosy cheeked boys swinging with barefeet, jeans, and no shirt. Mom can jump in here, too, and give the kiddos a push! Any gender welcome on either swing, siblings welcome.

This makes a great Mother’s Day Gift!

Bluebonnet photos are a Texas tradition! My property has a field of bluebonnets and this year I am going to do fewer sessions per evening to get optimal light for everyone.

Likely Dates- March 23-25… but these are all dependent on when the blooms come this year

This is Sparkles, our friendly mini horse. The unicorn sessions are very popular and in high demand! As usual, you are welcome to my gowns, headbands, and accessories. There is nothing more magical for a little girl!

Pony sessions are for the cowgirls and cowboys in your life. Kids only, siblings welcome. Both sessions offered on the same nights.

Likely Dates- April 27-29, May 2, 4-6

Know a hard working single parent family that deserves beautiful photos but might find it hard to find the time or stretch the budget? Surprise them with a family mini session!

Christmas Mini Sessions for Children | Chelsea Lietz Photography

Chelsea Lietz Photography is proud to offer Christmas mini sessions for children in the San Antonio, New Braunfels, Bulverde area. They will take place in my studio and you will have the option of two backdrops… you may use one or both.

As always, my props will be out and available for use. This includes santa hats, santa buckets, snowman costume, holiday headbands, shatterproof ornaments, tutus and leggings, letters to santa, cookies and milk, and more. I also have the white nightgowns you see below in sizes: babydoll, 12-24 month, 4, 6, and 10.

Details-

15 minute session in my studio. Two backdrop choices- wood or Christmas bed
proof gallery of 10-15 images for online viewing delivered within 7 days
3 high resolution digital images of your choice via download with print release.
Prints, products and additional digitals are optional.
Children 4 months- 12 years only please. (unless an older child is able to hold an infant)
Siblings welcome, but your time and number of images does not change. Two sessions back to back might be advisable.

Twin Newborn Photos in San Antonio | Ethan & Hunter | Chelsea Lietz Photography

I recently had the honor of photographing newborn twin boys that belong to a family in my church. These boys have a special story…

Ron and Jessica Steele have experienced grief and loss no parent should have to face.

In 2012 their beautiful nine-year-old daughter Alexis gained her angel wings after a long and hard fought battle with Leukemia.

Alexis was their miracle baby who was loved and adored by many. Through their grief, they championed a cause in honor of their daughter (along with Alexis’ grandparents Marilyn & Larry Rocamontes) called Alexis Angel Ministries. AAM provides emotional, physical, and specific financial support for patients and their families dealing with childhood cancer.

Though nothing could ever fill the void left by the loss of their daughter, Ron & Jessica longed to have another child. They explored every option available, but health issues, financial challenges, and arduous adoption processes left them with little hope.

This summer, a completely random chance encounter brought a wonderful adoption opportunity into their lives that has given them a renewed sense of purpose and joy.

The Steeles have welcomed twin baby boys into their family. We believe their big sister Alexis sent them from heaven, and so we honored her beautiful memory in our newborn session. Alexis is symbolized as a heart for the love she inspires still, as an angel for Alexis Angel Ministries, and with her beloved stuffed bunny rabbit.
